Roseanne Barr
Beginning March 1, 2008, Emmy award-winning comedian Roseanne Barr will bring her observational humor to the Sahara Hotel and Casino.
Ranked #9 on Comedy Central's list of 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time, Roseanne moved to Los Angeles in 1983 to pursue stand-up comedy. She was extremely successful, landing her first television appearance on the Johnny Carson Show in 1985. Little did she know that more than 20 years later, she would be performing in Sahara's Congo Room, where Carson himself once performed.
A few years later, Barr began taping her namesake show, which launched her to household fame. The series ran for nine seasons, picking up four Emmys, two Golden Globes, six People's Choice Awards, and numerous other accolades.

Barr will perform in the Sahara's legendary Congo Room, a 520-capacity entertainment venue, at 9:30 p.m. Saturday through Wednesday.
