The world famous Casbar Theatre Lounge has been named winner of Las Vegas Life magazine's 2006 choice for outstanding lounge venue. Best place to feel that cool Vegas vibe, is how the publication described Casbar's on-going line up of entertainment.

This announcement follows other awards given to the Sahara's lounge in recent months. The Casbar was preferred by readers of What's On magazine in its seventh annual tourist survey of Las Vegas entertainment and business. Last year the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper awarded the Casbar Theatre Lounge Best of Las Vegas honors in its annual reader survey publication. Anthony Curtis' Las Vegas Advisor tip sheet frequently listed the Sahara's lounge as a Top Ten Value.

Casbar continues a long tradition of bringing the best entertainment, always without cover charge, to its stage. Evening performances get underway at 9 p.m. and keep the music going until early morning. Casbar has been a favorite lounge in Las Vegas for more than 50 years.
